Summary:
The Physical Therapist Assistant provides treatment and manual techniques under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
The PTA is expected to manage a full caseload and complete all documentation required for patient care.
Essential Functions:
Provides PT interventions that are safe, effective, and in compliance with JAG PT guidelinesManages and delegates to support staff as needed for patient careCompletes documentation of notes in WebPT EMR in timely manner as per JAG PT guidelinesMaintains state regulated CEU requirements for PTA licenseAttends annual JAG PT Billing/Coding seminarAssists with cleanliness and organization of facilityEducates the surrounding community through lectures/presentationsDemonstrates respectful intervention with patients, colleagues, and othersOther duties as assigned Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree required, Physical Therapy Assistant degree preferredLicensed Physical Therapist AssistantCompleted state regulated CEU requirement in appropriate state (NY, NJ)Valid CPR LicenseExperience/knowledge with an EMR software is preferredExcellent oral, written communicationExcellent work ethic and dedication to patient successBasic computer skillsWorks as a team member and individually with minimal supervisionMaintains a positive, professional demeanor at all timesKey Performance Indicators (KPIs):
